[Feature] My Sweet Home Material Production

Ever since the "New Years Expansion" was released in STEPS Evolution. Along with the much awaited Drum Mode. The game feature the "My Sweet Home" System that allows you to have your own virtual space or lets call it Home complete with garden, farm and a ranch.

The main purpose of this system is to allow you to customize, decorate, design your own private virtual space in any way you want using different kinds of furniture so you can hang out with your friends, partner or baby in case the dance rooms and the rave party is too crowded for your taste.

So how can i have my own Room?

Once you reach level 10, The system will automatically gives you a quest that rewards you a Home Application Card.

Once you have this item. Follow the image below to create your own Home.

So where can i get furniture's aside from buying in the ITEM MALL?

This is where the Farming comes into play, It's as easy as ABC. Plant it. wait for it to mature, protect it from different phenomenons. Once it matures harvest it before someone does! You heard it right you can Steal someone else harvests.

With Farming, you can harvest different materials that you can use to create different furniture's.

THE ART OF FARMING STEPS EVOLUTION STYLE

Once you go near the areas where you can Plant, Plants, Water, Animals or Ore's (i know right! Kinda weird huh?) The farming menu will appear.

In this Menu you can perform different "farming" actions (STEPS Evolution style) like you've never seen before!

From left to right : Plant, Pray, Weeds, Pests, Water, Repair, Harvest and Destroy.

Let's discuss it One by One.

PLANT



The most basic of all command, Without it you cannot harvest anything. So before anything else Plant what you want to Sow!

Click it to choose what to be planted in your inventory.


Now choose the item that you want to plant for example Tree Seed that produces Timber.

You can buy seeds at the SPACE section of the item mall. All of the item can be purchased just by using In-Game Golds.




Keep in mind that you can only plant a specific item in a specific area. if you want plants the proceed to the Garden/Farm area as you can see in the screen shot above.



If you want Materials that came from Animals such as Wool then go to the ranch area.




For Minerals go to the Mine area.




For Mist and water related materials go to the Pond area.



Once you plant successfully, There will be a countdown on when you can harvest it.
If you think that's all for planting. You are wrong.


Now it's time for you to protect it from different phenomenon's.

These phenomenon's slows down and sometimes destroy the production of your materials.


PRAY and RAINBOW



If a rainbow appears on Top. Pray to the gods above. This phenomena has a chance to increase the speed of your production if you pray.


Weeds and Weeds


Use the Weeds to pick up the Weeds that prevents your plants from growing.
It only happens at plants.

Pests are us!

When worms appears in your crops use pests. Fight fire with fire eh? Use some pests to make them go away!

I'm in HEAT i need WATER


In case the temperature is high or they are in heat. Sprinkle them with some water.


Other Actions


When the production completed. it's time to harvest it before someone else does.
You can also destroy or repair what you planted.

And that's it for the basic moves of production in my sweet home system!

[Feature] Drum Mode

Inspired by the popular musical drums games that you can see in your favorite amusement centers; STEPS Evolution brings the arcade to you!

A dancing game is still a music game and music for dancing heavily relies on a great rhythm. Now it's time to boost up your listening power; move and groove to the beat of the drums!

Drum Mode introduces a parallel bar with a blue and orange smiley side scrolling that start from the right side of your screen.

How to play the Drum Mode:

1. Once the smiley's hit's the Combo Smiley on the left side of your screen, you must press the button of the corresponding smiley in synch with the rhythm of the music.

2. If you hit the buttons perfectly it will be counted as combo else it will miss, and not be counted and the system will give you a lower score.

Additional Information:

You can freely adjust the amount of the side scrolling smiley based on your liking. This makes it easier for everyone to learn drum mode!

In light of the new mode there will be 20 Additional songs made especially for this mode. Enjoy these new musical tracks with different speeds!

You can also choose the speed of the song as you select them.

If ever you are not comfortable on pressing the default keys for this mode, fret not. You are free to customize it!

If you think this mode is a piece of cake then think twice since this is one of the trickiest mode ever!

Mechanics:

1. Every Wednesday the GMs will post a screen shot of a particular location in the STEPS Philippines Facebook Fan Page.

2. All you need to do is to COPY the GM's pose and take a screen shot in that place together with your character.

(To take a screen shot. Press the Prt Scr button of your keyboard and locate the image in the root STEPS Folder Element > Screenshots)

3. Make sure that you are WEARING a costume with an ABUNDANT amount of color Red and Gold. It could be ANY PART of the costume as long as it's visible enough to see in the screen shot. [Little Red Riding Hood is color blind to everything except the color red and gold. If you don't use those colors, she won't be able to process your submission. Please make it easier on her eyes by using those color or you will make her cry.]

4. You must also wear a Bunny Headgear since it's the year of the rabbit! You can get those Rabbit Ears as a consolation prize from the Fairy Coupon. It's really easy to get one!

5. Upload the screen shot in the STEPS Philippines Facebook wall. Please put your exact character name in the description or in the comment box ( failure to do this means disqualification).

6. Tag at least 20 of your friends. Make sure that you asked them to like it.

Where can I get Color Red Fashion Items?

Almost all of the Rcoins items (whether it be Head/Hair, Top, Bottom, Shoes, Wings, Cosmetic Parts such as contact lens, make up etc. ) or gold named items gives you the option to choose a color from the color swatches.

All you need to do is click the COLOR button in the lower left icon of the item upon purchasing.

[Events] Battle Showdown Manila

When: Saturday, January 29 2011

Where: Gamepod Internet Cafe, Ground Floor Zen Tower, Ermita Manila at the back of SM Manila

Time: 1:00PM - 7:00PM

STEPS EVOLUTION will be raising the roof of the virtual dance floor again with the first ever DRUM mode competition in Manila!

MAIN CONTEST: DRUMMING MASTER CHALLENGE

Registration:

To register simply approach a STEPS Marshall designated for registration and present an unused 20 PHP cubicard.

Mechanics

• The game will be individual. So you can only trust your sense of hearing, hand and eye coordination this time.

• The game mode will be on Rhythm Section “Drum Mode”

• A song will be selected by the GM. During the first round, he song to be picked will on the “Easy” [x.05 - x2.0] category, the next will be on the “Normal” [x.2.0– x3.5] category. In case no one win 2x in a row the third song will come from the “Difficult” [x.3.5– x5.0] category.

• The first one to win 2x in a row will proceed to the next leg of eliminations.

• Depending on the number of players. There will be eliminations per leg until there are three players left. There will be 3 people every round.

Final Round Eliminations

• 3 Players – The first person who wins thrice [3x] during the round will be the winner. The person who wins twice [2x] will be the 2nd place winner while the other one will be the 3rd place winner.

• If the scenario above is not possible. There will be a sudden death battle for the 2nd place and 3rd place winner.

Rules:

• Players are not allowed to use their headphones and touch their keyboards inside the room before the game starts.

• The players will be asked to put on their headphones 1 minute before the game starts.

• The speed of the SMILEYS will be dependent on the song category. If the song is in EASY

  mode then you cannot use speed for the NORMAL and DIFFICULT.

• The decision of the Cubizone Team is indisputable and final.

• Prizes and Mechanics may be subject to change without prior notice.

• You cannot ask us to transfer you in-game item prize to any other characters.

• There will be 10 songs to guess in a given round.

• The top 3 Player who get the most number of correct answer will be the winner.

• The 3 winners will be given a chance to pick a random prize from the fishbowl.

Rules:

• You will only be given a certain amount of time to determine the song title.

• You must put the correct spelling of the song title.

• Strictly no copying.
