[Contest] Royal Rabbit Revolution

To celebrate the entering of the year of the metal rabbit. Cubizone will be launching the “Royal Rabbit Revolution” event in STEPS. This is a very special time for the lunar calendar. People of all races around the world celebrate and welcome the prosperous new year.

When:

Every Week

It involves in-game and Steps PH Community Facebook Fan Page at the same time.

Starts on 5:00 PM January 5 Ends on Wednesday February 2 2011 of the same time.

• Cut Off will be on January 11 (5:00PM) for Week 1

• Cut Off will be on January 18 (5:00PM) for Week 2

• Cut Off will be on January 25 (5:00PM) for Week 3

• Cut Off will be on February 2 (5:00PM) for Week 4

Mechanics:

1. Every Wednesday the GMs will post a screen shot of a particular location in the STEPS Philippines Facebook Fan Page.

2. All you need to do is to COPY the GM's pose and take a screen shot in that place together with your character.

(To take a screen shot. Press the Prt Scr button of your keyboard and locate the image in the root STEPS Folder Element > Screenshots)

3. Make sure that you are WEARING a costume with an ABUNDANT amount of color Red and Gold. It could be ANY PART of the costume as long as it's visible enough to see in the screen shot. [Little Red Riding Hood is color blind to everything except the color red and gold. If you don't use those colors, she won't be able to process your submission. Please make it easier on her eyes by using those color or you will make her cry.]

4. You must also wear a Bunny Headgear since it's the year of the rabbit! You can get those Rabbit Ears as a consolation prize from the Fairy Coupon. It's really easy to get one!

5. Upload the screen shot in the STEPS Philippines Facebook wall. Please put your exact character name in the description or in the comment box ( failure to do this means disqualification).

6. Tag at least 20 of your friends. Make sure that you asked them to like it.

Where can I get Color Red Fashion Items?

Almost all of the Rcoins items (whether it be Head/Hair, Top, Bottom, Shoes, Wings, Cosmetic Parts such as contact lens, make up etc. ) or gold named items gives you the option to choose a color from the color swatches.

All you need to do is click the COLOR button in the lower left icon of the item upon purchasing.

Rules:

1. We are allowing digital alterations in your entry but keep it MINIMAL. Keep in mind that this is not a contest of Photoshop skills.

2. You can only submit a screen shot ONCE per week.

3. You cannot resubmit your costume that you wore from the previous week. If you want to join again. Kindly mix and match it with another item.

4. We will only accept entries on or before 05:00PM of the cut off day.

5. Winners will be announced after a few minutes.

6. Failure to do all the necessary requirements means disqualification.

At the end of every week. The Little Red Riding Hood judge will choose the best dressed character of the week and he or she will receive a 30 Day Scooter.

Grand Prize Winner

At the end of the event. The Screen shot with the MOST LIKES (Minimum of 100 Likes) regardless of the day or week submitted will win a Feather Wings that will allow you to fly in the sky (Permanent)

Little Red Riding Hood Choice Award:

There will also be a Grand Finale Little Red Riding hood award. Regardless of the day or week submitted. Ms. Little red riding hood will choose the outfit that stands out from the crowd and he or she will win a Feather Wings that will allow you to fly in the sky (Permanent).

[Events] Battle Showdown Manila

When: Saturday, January 29 2011

Where: Gamepod Internet Cafe, Ground Floor Zen Tower, Ermita Manila at the back of SM Manila

Time: 1:00PM - 7:00PM

STEPS EVOLUTION will be raising the roof of the virtual dance floor again with the first ever DRUM mode competition in Manila!

If you think you can Boom boom shake the room with this ultimate rhythm mode then STEP UP TO THE CHALLENGE!

MAIN CONTEST: DRUMMING MASTER CHALLENGE

Registration:

To register simply approach a STEPS Marshall designated for registration and present an unused 20 PHP cubicard.

Mechanics

• The game will be individual. So you can only trust your sense of hearing, hand and eye coordination this time.

• The game mode will be on Rhythm Section “Drum Mode”

  FYI: Drum Mode introduces a parallel bar with a blue and orange smiley side scrolling that start from the right side of your screen.

How to play the Drum Mode:

1. Once the smiley's hit's the Combo Smiley on the left side of your screen, you must press the button of the corresponding smiley in synch with the rhythm of the music.

2. If you hit the buttons perfectly it will be counted as combo else it will miss, and not be counted and the system will give you a lower score.

• A song will be selected by the GM. During the first round, he song to be picked will on the “Easy” [x.05 - x2.0] category, the next will be on the “Normal” [x.2.0– x3.5] category. In case no one win 2x in a row the third song will come from the “Difficult” [x.3.5– x5.0] category.

• The first one to win 2x in a row will proceed to the next leg of eliminations.

• Depending on the number of players. There will be eliminations per leg until there are three players left. There will be 3 people every round.

Final Round Eliminations

• 3 Players – The first person who wins thrice [3x] during the round will be the winner. The person who wins twice [2x] will be the 2nd place winner while the other one will be the 3rd place winner.

• If the scenario above is not possible. There will be a sudden death battle for the 2nd place and 3rd place winner.

Rules:

• Players are not allowed to use their headphones and touch their keyboards inside the room before the game starts.

• The players will be asked to put on their headphones 1 minute before the game starts.

• The speed of the SMILEYS will be dependent on the song category. If the song is in EASY

  mode then you cannot use speed for the NORMAL and DIFFICULT.

• The decision of the Cubizone Team is indisputable and final.

Mechanics:

• This event is only available to all STEPS EVOLUTION BATTLE SHOWDOWN participants.

• We will announce, the player should go straight to the “Name that STEPS Evo Tune” Marshall

• Players should listen to the music that is playing. Then on a sheet of paper, write down the exact title of the song

• There will be 10 songs to guess in a given round.

• The top 3 Player who get the most number of correct answer will be the winner.

• The 3 winners will be given a chance to pick a random prize from the fishbowl.

Rules:

• You will only be given a certain amount of time to determine the song title.

• You must put the correct spelling of the song title.

• Strictly no copying.

[Events] Dance Assault Ver. AME Track 10

Where: Hall 2 SMX Convention Center ( UP Ame Track 10: Rhapsody of the rain)

Cubizone Philippines will be co presenting a major anime/manga/music/Japanese culture event this November 06 2010. Since the interest collides with the overall view of STEPS Evolution. We will be taking another STEP(s) to further show what our games can do.

MECHANICS

1. The game will be individual.

2. The game mode will be on SHOW MODE “4K 100-140 Begginer and 4K 140 and Above SHOW"

• The show mode introduces a SHOWTIME bar.
• Every time you get a “COOL” and a “PERFECT” the bar will be filled little by little.
• Each bar corresponds to a number that will multiply your score starting from X2 up to X4.

• To use the SHOWTIME BAR all you need to do is to press SHIFT.

• After you use the SHOWTIME BAR your succeeding scores will be multiplied. You will gain higher scores for the next set of STEPS. Afterward the bar will be reset.

• You need to use your personal strategy and timing for when to use the SHOW TIME Bar.

• You can fill it up again by doing “COOL” and a “PERFECT” moves.

• Some dazzling visual effects will appear every time you use the SHOWTIME BAR [Don't let this distract you!]

• The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.

• The song that we are going to use is based on the GM's discretion though the BPM will range from 100 – 140 BPM for 4 Key Competition while we will use 130 and Above BPM for 8Key Competition.

• Depending on the number of players. There will be elimination per leg until there are three players left.

FINAL ROUND ELIMINATIONS

• Race to 3 Wins! - With 3 Players left the first participant who wins thrice [3x] during the round will be the winner. The person who wins twice [2x] will be the 2nd place winner while the other one will be the 3rd place winner.

• If the scenario above is not possible. There will be a sudden death battle for the 2nd place and 3rd place winner.

RULES:

• The players will be asked to put on their headphones 1 minute before the game starts.

• The song and BPM will be chosen by the STEPS GM.

• The decision of the Cubizone Team is indisputable and final.

• Prizes and Mechanics may be subject to change without prior notice.

• You cannot ask us to transfer you in-game item prize to any other characters.

• A Player can join both category however he/she needs to pay another registration fee is he/she to be able to join the other category.

• In case a player who participated and won both category. He or she can only receive the highest amount of prize. ( e.g You won as a 2nd place in the 8k and won as the 1st place in the 4key. Hence you will only receive the prizes for the 4key since it's higher and will only be declared as the 4k Champion).

• The ranks will be moved and there will be a sudden death round or bonus round in order to fill in and adjust the rankings.

• The organizer will provide the player with headphones. Players should listen to the music that is playing. Then on a sheet of paper, write down the name of the song

• There will be 10 songs to guess in a given round.

• The top 3 Player who get the most number of correct answer will be the winner.
